I want to show you how I think of enterpreneurship as the constructedly feasible way to change the world.
Pretty much the only path to actually impact people without going against them.
Dictatorism doesn’t work.
You can’t tell people how to act, what to think, even if you truly believe it’s for their best.
People will revolt when they perceive they are being manipulated.
It’s like when a youtuber receives attention for how much money is making.
It’s as if money was something to be ashamed of.
And that has to do with thinking that:
-Companies control the world.
-Companies decide what we will do.
-People are manipulating others for their own benefit.
I’m not going to argue that in a sense those are true statement, because I believe they are true.
Yet.
I want to argue that they mean nothing.
Even if companies control the world, and our life has been planned for us to work 9 to 5, then get drunk and watch tv.
Even if that would be the ideal world for a money-making, company-driven world.
You are forgetting that you have a choice!!!
You actually determine how brand will plan for the future.
If an advertiser makes an ad concerning the slaughtering of cows, and the public (YOU) feel disgusted by that ad, hence you boycott the brand.
TRUST ME, the ad-guy is going to get fired!
We are co-creators of reality.
Status symbols exist not just because some random guy said so, but because there’s enough people to believe in that.
I want you to go out and try this:
Stare at the sky for 5 minutes, feel like an idiot and notice how nobody gives a shit.
Now take 4 friends and do the same.
You will be amazed at how a good bunch of people will look at you guys, then feel perplex, and then look at the sky. And they will be confused.
Because you are NONVERBALLY talking to them.
And by the fact that you are in a group, you have “more power” in terms of influencing others.
By watching the sky as a group, people will tend to not see the group as an “organized group of people” but as a “bunch of random dudes”, hence they will think that something worth watching is actually happening.
BOOOOOOM
So let’s get back to entrepreneurship.
If you don’t have friends, you won’t influence anybody.
Because implicitly, what you say means nothing.
Having no friends is the “social status” that explains that you are disgusting, un-approachable and most likely either a psychopath or a killer.
I’m just joking.
Yet, that’s the first feeling we all get.
So, as an entrepreneur, your friends are your customers.
Customers give credibility in the sense that they actually create a reality (as in psychological reality) in which your product is:
-Remarkable (they can talk about it)
-Of quality
-Worth spending time on it (money as a derivative).
So, how does an entrepreneur with no money, no friends, no influence, with nobody knowing who he is, SELL A PRODUCT?
The answer is quite simple:
HE GIVES WHAT PEOPLE WANT, NOT WHAT HE THINKS THEY WANT.
People don’t want to be healthy. People would like to be healthy and sexy and full of shit, fucking everybody, laughing all day, not having to do shit just to get money and love and approval.
That’s what everybody wants.
We want to make the least effort to gain the biggest advantage.
And THANKFULLY the world doesn’t reward laziness.
I could go on, but I want to close this out by saying that:
Entrepreneurs change the world by giving people what they want, and then when they are the one with the “power” to give the world what the world didn’t knew they wanted. They make the world a better place. By NONVERBAL agreement, people of the world are agreeing with each other that tools will get better, machines will work for us, we will all be DJ’s in the 2050 and we will print our own house.
That’s because we found a way to be in agreement without having to talk.
That way is called:
-Entrepreneurship.
